Valmont’s Curved Poles expand the modern look of new Traxxas HQ in McKinney, TX
As Traxxas was relocating its headquarters and distribution facility to McKinney, TX, they wanted to create a consistent brand experience both inside and outside the new facility. After seeing curved light poles online, the property developer decided to collaborate with Valmont on a unique pole design.
The customer envisioned something similar to a basic davit pole, but wanted the design to have a longer curve and a lower starting point for the luminaire arm. Thanks to Valmont’s global resources and pole engineering expertise, we addressed the refined requirements quickly with a proposal that satisfied all the customer needs. To achieve the chosen aesthetics, the Valmont engineering team combined
a simple round pole design with elegant curved arms. Finally, to highlight the Traxxas brand and provide weather protection for the poles, Valmont used black and red high technology finish paints.
With a total of 16 single arm poles and 12 double arm poles around the 30-acre complex, the Traxxas look now shines through and through.
