Setting Specification Standards in Nashville, TN
When Nashville, TN, was searching for a lighting solution that could remain consistent throughout the city while also complimenting its various environments, Valmont® Structures was their choice back in 2001 due to quality and versatility of our products. Valmont was not only chosen as a supplier for the project back in 2001, but our pole assemblies were also named as the specification standard for future projects. For the last 20 years, our specified products have been creating a consistent, contemporary aesthetic throughout the city of Nashville.
The different components found in the specified pole assembly options allow for flexibility in design while still keeping the city’s lighting consistent as a whole. One of the main components is our Renaissance Base Cover. This option complements the 16 Sharp Fluted Pole style, creating a contemporary atmosphere throughout the city. The evenly spaced 16 sharp fluting pattern in addition to the even fluting starting points found in these poles are a testament of engineered workmanship and beauty. Finally, there are a number of decorative and banner arm combinations used throughout the city. These Steel Fixed and Aluminum Breakaway Banner Arms with a decorative ball element are provided based on the city’s requirements.
Though these assemblies are the specification standard for the city, they still have the ability to mix and match different components to best fit the specific environment. By specification registering the initial Valmont project, Nashville partnered with our agent, FSA Lighting, to ensure future projects are engineered per their requirements and produced to Valmont’s high quality standards. Valmont Structures' decorative line stability ensures the decorative bases and components that were offered years ago, will be available years into the future. The images to the right show some, but not all, of the different pole assemblies found in Nashville.
