Valmont Poles Become the Standard in La Vista, NE
Formerly known as an industrial suburb with many warehouses, the City of La Vista wanted to portray a more progressive look in order to attract more retail businesses. Despite an abundance of potential solutions, the city officials selected Valmont to deliver a light pole system that would effectively signal the progressive new image. Valmont’s capability to deliver a variety of standard and customized solutions met all of the city’s needs within the designated timeline.
Instead of selecting a standard product, La Vista worked with the Valmont Structures team to achieve their own look by combining a mix of decorative fluted poles, decorative base covers, luminaire arms and pole top caps in a complementary color scheme. Utilizing its global resources to bring together this unique blend of engineering and design solutions, Valmont has installed over 500 light poles to date throughout the city. As a result of the overhaul and great partnership, La Vista has successfully transformed into a modern destination for shopping, hotels and restaurants. Today, Central Sales and Valmont products continue to be the city standard.
