Amusement Park Welcomes Visitors in Style
In 2009 Valmont Structures worked with Cedar Point, “The Roller Coaster Capital of the World,” to build a custom product of equal amusement. Their contractor sent Valmont a sketch of a 20 foot pole topped with mounting rings shaped like wagon wheels, and asked: “Can you build this?” Today, Valmont’s decorative poles continue to welcome visitors to Cedar Point Amusement Park.
Key Features:
- Aluminum mounting ring supporting six small down lights.
- Twin split-tube arms inside the ring support two banners
- Wires fed through a small tube to the ring connect the lights surrounding the pole
- Break-away arms hold the base of the banner above two speakers placed on aluminum mounting plates
- Three-foot flag support mast installed at the top
