Distribution And Transmission
Pole Products
Valmont West Coast Engineering is capable of producing all sizes and design combinations
of distribution and transmission pole designs from 11 kV to 500
kV. All orders are custom designed to customer's criteria
and specifications. We offer many years of engineering experience
in designing transmission pole structures internationally and
this expertise is part of the service offered to our customers.

Steel poles for distribution are an increasingly important market,
and to facilitate the growing demand, Valmont West Coast Engineering have designed and engineered
a roll-former for tapered steel poles. It is capable of forming
distribution steel poles up to 40 feet long at a speed of 120 ft/minute.

Bridges
Sign bridges are always custom designed to individual applications.
We are capable of producing a complete range for all applications.
Our company has been a major producer of sign bridges in
Western Canada for many years. We have worked with the B.C.
Ministry of Transportation and Highways and other customers
in improved design, development, emphasizing ease of installation
and flexibility of interchangeable components for maintenance

High
Masts
Valmont West Coast Engineering has become the industry standard
for high mast poles; lighting Ports, Airports and container
yards along with other special applications that require
safe, fast and easy access to properly maintain lighting
fixtures. The brilliance of the West Coast system allows
for any make or model of fixture to be installed in a variety
of configurations on our raise/lowering system.
We can provide an extensive range of raise/lowering mechanisms,
including the worlds safest constant tension device that
will never fail. The West Coast system utilizes a
single, double or triple drum winch, depending on the load, making
it safe, simple, and reliable. We provide all components
from the base plate to the top of the pole to make the high mast
lighting system fully operational. As well we will provide
on site factory trained technicians to assist with proper

Phone Towers
Valmont West Coast Engineering is a major supplier of cell towers to the
telecommunications industry. Valmont West Coast Engineering cell phone towers are designed
to meet stringent and deflection criteria. With heights to
50 m, we are able to design and supply poles for every application.
Custom designs are also available such as combination Highmast
Lighting Pole with a raising and lowering system
for luminaries. Cell Phone Towers are available in all
standard finishes, including Powder Coating, to meet the most
demanding aesthetic requirements.
