ANNOUNCEMENT

West Coast Engineering Group Ltd, Canada’s leader in steel and aluminum pole manufacturing, with plants in Delta, BC, Winnipeg, MB and Ferndale, WA announces our latest acquisition, Ontario’s oldest and largest pole manufacturer, Powco Steel Products, located in Barrie, ON, November 2006. We are currently operating in Ontario as Powco Inc, a Division of West Coast Engineering Group.

Powco has been in the pole business for 50 years and is a well established name throughout Eastern Canada and the Eastern seaboard of the U.S.

We are implementing a quality control program immediately with the intent of obtaining ISO-9001 registration in 2007.

The company has also started introducing Powco to our Visual Manufacturing System software in order to improve scheduling accuracy and better serve our customers.

Other improvements to follow are a strong emphasis of engineering in product design, FEA (Finite Element Analysis), leading edge technological solutions and innovative product development for today’s changing market place.
